Stopped by here on my way back to Tampa. The griot was honestly the best thing I had. The legume was not what I expected, but it was good. Service was ok and our food came out promptly. The rice and peas was ok as well. The bathroom was not the best and had no soap to wash hands. Overall I would return for the griot. It was crispy, juicy and well seasoned. Serving size was also fantastic. One plate could feed you for a few days. With some minor changes, this place would be top tier.

The best Haitian food in Miami. I've been going here since 2014 and they only get better. Look up the menu before to know what you want because the lines are long. Also bring Cash

Stopped by Chez Le Bebe soon as lunch started and ordered a griot konplé which means griot complete. Griot is pieces of pork shoulder that is marinated, cooked, and then fried. Griot simp is just the fried pork and fried smashed plantains, where as the griot complete(konplé) comes with a mound of rice. Getting back to the review the food was great. The griot was fried to perfection, it wasn't too soft or hard and it was filled with flavor. The diri kole(haitian rice and beans) was awesome, it was cook just right, not gummy or hard, but filled with flavor. The bannann peze was super fresh, lightly salted and hot. All in all the food was great, my only complaint is that I sat in to eat my food and the restaurant was hot. Those ceiling fans got to go. Time for some central AC. I am completely baffled how this place has such low reviews when the food tastes like someone's Haitian grandmother cooked it for you with all the love on the planet. If you've ever had proper Haitian (Caribbean) food you'd know this place is a hidden gem. It is ALL and ONLY about the food as the place itself is not where you'd take a date you'd like to impress however, let's just concentrate on the food. I have been ordering from this place for Many years and I have yet to have a bad dish not to mention that amount of food served can easily feed 3 Regardless of wether you live near or are just in the area or simply passing through I highly Encourage you to check this place out. I promise you will not be disappointed!!! My faves and generally what I always order are the following dishes - The GRIOT (unctuously seasoned fried pork) is a signature dish and is the best in town! - The OX tail is extremely tender and Ohhhh Soooo Tasteful! Each dish comes with deeeeelicious Haitian Rice and Beans and greens Plantains though you can request sweet plantains if you prefer. If you like spicy food (which I suggest trying) make sure to ask for the "pikliz" (pickled cabbage and carrots made with spicy Scotch bonnet peppers) Guys PLEASE DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR A CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! You won't be sorry you did! Oh Yeah - They ONLY accept CASH

Delicious Haitian cuisine One of the best Haitian food in north miami. It will make you enjoy another side of haiti! The best is the griot.

Hands down THE BEST restaurant oxtail I've ever had! They were tender, flavorful and the spice level was perfect. Upon entering the restaurant there were already 3 people ahead of me. Soon after 4 others joined the line and I see why. Parking is limited however I was able to get a spot right in front of the building. The rice was dry but the oxtail and plantains outshined it. 10/10. I definitely recommend.

Sak passe! Good food. Fast service. Reasonable prices. Cash only, so be prepared. Side options are extremely limited, but I respect the realness. I would describe as a divey (cheaper) chef creole. 2 botanicas across the street so you know its real. First time so I stuck to the classics and had the grio (fried pork). Not overcooked or to dry with a good ratio of meat to skin and fat, and seasoned suprisingly well - mild, not too heavy. Personally I like it with more spice #hotboysummer. Sauce and picklez on the side (not pictured). Sauce (grio broth based) and picklez (fresh pickled spicy cole slaw mix) came in clutch since spice level wasn't as high as I prefer. 11/10 would reccomend.

Chez Le Bebe = authentic Haitian food in the heart of Little Haiti. First off, let me preface by saying I LOVE Haitian food. I've been jumping around little Haiti looking for a good spot and for a while I was stuck on Chef Creole, however the lines there are so long and the wait time can be up to 30 minutes at times. If you're looking for a fancy spot with excellent customer service.. ehhhh.. this might not be the spot for you, but if you're looking for really great food at a low price without the wait, step on in! The sign in the front is barely legible so pay close attention when you're trying to find the place! There are many tables to sit and eat at but you have to order at the register first and then pick up your food. I ordered the Griot with rice and peas and tostones. The food was ready in 5 minutes! When I got home I was delighted to open the container and find a whole heap of griot! For $10 this was such an excellent deal. The Griot was an excellent mix of fatty and crispy pieces. The rice and peas were cooked perfectly. Not too dry and not too mushy. The flavors were excellent. I would definitely say the Griot here is better than Chef Creole. They also give a huge amount of food and don't skimp on the pikliz. Yay for great food!!
